Ramada by Wyndham Houston Intercontinental Airport East

The Ramada isn’t the Ramada experience you remember from the 1990s. The hotel is old, the furniture is dated, and the beds aren’t very comfortable. What makes the stay worthwhile is the staff. They are friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which makes a big difference when you’re stuck overnight. The rooms are clean, and while the property shows its age, the team does a great job of taking care of guests. If your flight gets canceled and you need an affordable place to stay for the night, this hotel works. Don’t expect luxury, but you’ll be treated well.

the hotel is very close to the airport and the staff was incredibly helpful. from late night arrival they made it very easy to find the free shuttle (door 105 in terminal c) i called when i landed and when i walked outside and found the shuttle the gentleman was waiting for me personally, which i thought was very thorough and considerate! great communication from front desk to shuttle operator. the morning shuttle to the airport was prompt and took about 15 minutes from the hotel. the room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable.

Very clean rooms. Large HDTV, good size microwave and mini fridge. Beds are comfortable and work desk. Hotel staff are friendly, patient and professional. Hotel lobby is very clean and upscale.

Everything is amazing and wonderful and perfect. The staff is so kind gorgeous people the cleaning people have a beautiful smile with kindness heart hard-working so clean every day every morning with the delicious food to make the kitchen beautiful the reception is so kind and lovely too. thank you. Had an unexpected middle of night landing with layover in Houston. I called the concierge dest directly and Honey was World class. Experienced she helped with airport shuttle and the booking at the front desk. After a horrible flight ordeal low on patienece and energy this is an oasis and sanctuary fore the tired traveler. The staff was above what I have experienced at far more expensive hotels. The hotel was spotless and very clean. I definitely recommend and would stay here again, excellent value.

My flight got cancelled and I chose to stay near the airport for picking up rebooked flight next day. Guys you have to admit that Ramada is high 2 stars and low 3 stars, so dont expect the fancy condition like other 3 stars at other area. Positive: offer shuttle, nice staff, comfy bed, Dove soap production, strong water pressure, cleaned as acceptable level short stay. Concerned to admit: Room is outdated due to long time location. At night there was some sounds from somewhere that make a little creepy feelings. Bath-tub slow water digest. Conclusion: If you want a short stay facility closed to the airport with reasonable price - this one is for you. If you want couple days to enjoy your vacation, you might want to find different area. At first I was sceptical after reading several bad reviews on Google Maps. Let's start with the bad: 1. My credit card on file was charged twice (first time for $55, which I found out was a mistake from the hotel), then another $100 for incidentals as deposit. The GOOD side to resolve these issues: Lui at the front desk was great and friendly, he answered all my queries and some issues with (the mistaken) charge to my debit card. 2. I received over 20 emails to confirm that I was checked in and my reservation was confirmed (some system errors)? 3. It was complicated to reach the front desk by phone to request an airport shuttle pick up. I decided to order an UBER which costed $15 one way. The hotel date from the 60's/70's and it's an old school gigantic property. Lots of green spaces around and very quiet - Big pool - Decent gym - Bar with karaoke on site - Restaurant (but I didn't try the food) Ask for a room with the smart TV. I enjoyed watching my favourite shows on Netflix and other streaming services. Big lobby and lots of seatings to wait for your (complimentary) airport shuttle. Super comfy bed and strong A/C Big desk with office chair (very important when you work online)

Building is old, but has had some upgrades. Room was fine, good bed, clean and enough linens, shower worked well. Great for an overnight stay->close to the airport. coffee/teapot was in the room, also microwave and refrigerator No meals were taken.
